Birth Mapping

Formalised birth planning

Although this is included in the services I have listed above, I also provide this as a standalone service, no matter of planned place of birth.

Birth mapping gives you an opportunity to explore your birth options and consider what is important to you with consideration to your goals and desires, but also what your preferences are if things don’t go to plan.

Birth Mapping is best completed around 34 weeks and with all your support people present. There is prior reading and a questionnaire to complete, so booking ahead of time is ideal. Best done face to face, but can be completed on Zoom if location is an issue for you.

When you have finished you will be confident in your decisions and you will have a document that you can add to your antenatal documentation and present to your chosen clinicians.

*Global fees: require GP referral, medicare rebates are claimed directly by midwife.

*Fee structure: Pregnancy administration fee due prior to first appointment and secures midwifery services. Further payment at 28 weeks, and final payment due at 36 weeks. Payment plans available.
